Over the years I've come to appreciate the unique challenges small business owners, specifically bars and restaurants, are confronted with. From the expensive initial startup costs, including licensing fees and equipment, to understanding both your customer base and the competition; to create that perfect menu and experience. Owning one (or more) of these establishments is not for the feint of heart. While I am clearly an experience graphic designer, my roots are planted in the hospitality industry. I'm an unapologetic foodie; I've been a server, a line cook, a busboy and I'm currently a freelance bartender / wannabe mixologist; “ask me about my chocolate leprechaun” ;) and honestly . . . I just love being around the people in these environments. With my understanding of some the challenges you face, from the inside, I have a distinct edge when: shooting product photography, designing menus, advertisements and understanding how to reach your audience; all while helping you stay competitive in a saturated market.
